How I work

I am an integrative therapist working with adults. I am governed by the BACP ethical framework centring the client’s wellbeing in all I do. At the heart of my practice is humanistic, person-centred theory working relationally and collaboratively with the whole person and all they bring to co-create the approach that best suits each individual, their circumstances, goals and preferences.

While I draw from Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), my work is also informed by other humanistic modalities, such as Existential Therapy, as well as Psychodynamic Theory and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I follow advances in the research evidence, particularly neurobiology, underpinning effective routes to healing.

Awareness of trauma and safe and appropriate ways to hold difficult experience is particularly important to me, and I draw on somatic practices of re-regulation.

Meeting online via Zoom or in person, I offer both time-limited and longer term options.
